Last week was a fresh week after the silent meditation retreat, and it started in a very human way: massive stomach cramps after I ate junk too quickly after a 3-day fast.

So yes, still learning.

The retreat gave me clarity, but the body also has its own rules. You cannot just jump from silence and fasting straight into bad food and expect everything to be fine. Rough start indeed.

But the week ended on a real high: our GFAVIP Chat app was approved in the Apple iOS App Store.

That one felt big.

For the last 20 years in business, one of my core mottos has been simple: make sure each day you are taking steps toward your goal. Some days the steps are tiny. Some days they are bigger. Some days you are recovering from stomach cramps and just trying to get back to normal. But you keep forging the path ahead.

GFAVIP Chat getting approved is one of those steps that makes many previous steps feel connected.

This is not just another chat app. We see it as the super app for the Global From Anywhere community. You can download it at gfavip.com/download, and once inside, check the Apps section. Even this Mike's Blog Now mini app is already there.

My whole life people have told me I do too much.

Since grade school, when I was taking extra classes, playing sports, doing extracurriculars, and filling every corner of the day, people said, "Mike, you do too much." College was the same. Work was the same.

Now I am embracing it.

Over the years, our team and I have made hundreds of apps, tools, workflows, and experiments. Instead of letting them scatter everywhere, we are bringing them into the GFAVIP Chat app. There are about 15 apps there for now, and we will slowly add more as we roll this out.

This matters especially for Cross Border Summit, happening November 3, 4, and 5 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The more the app grows, the more ways we have for listeners, attendees, speakers, sponsors, and community members to engage with us before, during, and after the event.

This week I am also heading to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the Horizon AI expo. I will be speaking and hosting a booth under our Headless Empire program name.

And one part I am especially happy about: Miles is coming with me.

I miss my family when I am on business trips, so I invited everyone. Miles raised his hand. He wants to help at the booth and learn more about how these trips work. He is 12 now, and I love the idea of him learning business and entrepreneurship on the ground, not only from books or videos.

On the Excalibur Brothers side, we are also seeing positive development in the men's care category. We are narrowing supplier research, working through packaging and branding positioning, and Billy Beard is getting ready to be more active on the marketing side.

It will take a few months at minimum to develop this men's care category properly, but that is okay. We want to do it right and get Billy ready to shine.

So yes, another intense week.

GFAVIP Chat approved for iOS. The Apps section becoming a real home for more of what we have built. Vietnam AI expo coming up. Miles joining the booth. Excalibur Brothers men's care moving forward.

Thanks for tuning in. If you want to collaborate, test the app, give feedback, or share ideas, we are open.

Rough Start, Strong Finish

Mike: Last week was a fresh week after the silent meditation retreat. It started off rough with massive stomach cramps after I ate junk too quickly after a 3-day fast, but it ended on a high with our GFAVIP Chat app approved in the Apple iOS App Store.

Janice Jung: Rough start indeed, and at least you are learning and growing each day.

Mike: Exactly. My motto for the last 20 years in business has been to make sure each day you are making steps toward your goal. Even if it is a little on some days and more on others, just keep forging the path ahead.

GFAVIP Chat App

Lisa Yuson: The GFAVIP Chat app is very exciting. It is our super app in the Global From Anywhere community, and now that we are getting the apps approved, we will soon have more incentives for listeners to engage with us, especially for the upcoming Cross Border Summit November 3, 4, and 5 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Lisa Yuson: You can get ahead and download it at gfavip.com/download and then check the Apps section. Even this Mike's Blog Now mini app is there.

Mike: Exactly. My whole life people told me I was doing too much. But now I am embracing what they said and putting the hundreds of apps we have made into the GFAVIP Chat app. There are about 15 there for now, and we will slowly keep adding more as we roll this out.

Horizon AI Vietnam

Janice: Insane to see this come to life, and we are here to support. You are also going to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam this week, right?

Mike: Yes. After our ecommerce meetup in Chiang Mai on Tuesday, I am going to Horizon AI expo to speak and host a booth under our Headless Empire program name.

Janice: And Miles, your 12-year-old son, is coming with you to support. That is so cool, right?

Mike: Yes. I miss my family when I am on business trips and invited all of them, but Miles raised his hand. He wants to help at the booth and learn more about how these business trips work. Get him learning about business and entrepreneurship on the ground.

Excalibur Brothers Men's Care

Billy Beard: Also some positive developments on the men's care category on Excalibur Brothers. We are narrowing down supplier research, working on the packaging and branding positioning, and I am getting ready to get more active on the marketing side for this one.

Mike: Yes, Billy Beard, we are excited to have you step up more. It will take a few months minimum to develop this men's care category on our Excalibur Brothers brand, but we need to get you ready to shine.

Billy Beard: I am more than ready. And you are making some new deals, collaborations, and systems for me and the team to use. Super excited for this.
