Why We're Exploring This
Excalibur Brothers has built a loyal audience around gifts for men — swords, knives, gear, and premium masculine products. We're considering a natural expansion: men's grooming and care products that fit the same brand story.
We live and work in Thailand. We've sourced from Chinese factories for years, but trade complexity, distance, and supply chain risk have us looking closer to home. Thailand has strong cosmetic manufacturing, abundant natural ingredients (beeswax, herbs, botanicals), and OEM capability — while we continue selling primarily to the U.S. market on Amazon and TikTok.
We already buy a few products from Thai suppliers under other brands. This page is an early brainstorm — we want your honest feedback before we go further.
The Concept: "Made in Thailand" Men's Gifts
Not drugstore basics. Not influencer hype. Premium, giftable men's care with a clear origin story:
- Natural bases — beeswax, herbal extracts, clean formulas
- Thoughtful packaging — tins, amber glass, bamboo accents where it makes sense
- Excalibur Brothers branding — knight shield, gold accents, masculine premium feel
- Designed as gifts — for husbands, dads, brothers, groomsmen, Father's Day, birthdays
Early Product Mockups
These are concept renders to spark conversation — not final packaging. What resonates? What feels off-brand?
Our Ambassador: BillyBeard
We're working with BillyBeard as the face of this line — a real beard guy, not a generic model. His site is billybeard.com, and he's the kind of creator who can demo product, tell the story, and build trust with the grooming audience we're going after on TikTok and Amazon.
Who It's For
The Gift Buyer
Wife, partner, or adult child shopping for a man who "has everything." Wants something that feels premium and thoughtful — not another gadget.
The Self-Care Guy
Growing segment of men who groom intentionally — beard, hair, skin — but want natural ingredients and a brand with personality.
The Excalibur Customer
Someone who already trusts us for knives and gear. A grooming line extends the relationship without leaving the brand universe.
Why Thailand Makes Sense (High Level)
- Established cosmetic OEM industry — Thailand exports beauty and personal care globally; men's grooming is a fast-growing segment across ASEAN.
- Natural ingredient story — beeswax, herbs, and botanicals align with clean-beauty trends in the U.S. market.
- We're here — quality control, factory visits, and supply chain relationships without flying to China.
- Brand differentiation — "Made in Thailand" is a story Amazon and TikTok customers haven't heard a thousand times yet.
Note: We're actively researching manufacturing partners and formulas internally. This public page is about product-market fit and creative direction — not sourcing details.
Channels We're Targeting
- Amazon U.S. — search-driven gifting (Father's Day, Christmas, beard care keywords). Gift sets as anchor ASINs.
- TikTok Shop — short-form lifestyle content, unboxing, "gift for him" hooks. Ambassador BillyBeard and the in-use mockup style above are built for this.
- ExcaliburBrothers.com — cross-sell to existing traffic; bundle with knives/gear for premium gift baskets.
We Need Your Feedback
If you're seeing this page, you're in our trusted circle. Brutal honesty welcome. Reply on X, email, or book a quick call — whatever's easiest.
Questions We'd Love Your Take On
- Would you buy this for someone? Who — husband, dad, friend? What occasion?
- Which mockup feels most "Excalibur Brothers"? Too premium? Not premium enough?
- Gift set vs. single SKU — would you rather receive a curated box or one hero product?
- Beard / hair / skincare — which category matters most to the men in your life?
- "Made in Thailand" — does that add appeal, neutrality, or confusion for a U.S. buyer?
- Natural / clean ingredients — how much does that matter vs. brand look and giftability?
- What's missing? Body wash? Lip balm? Cologne? Barber kit? Tell us what you'd actually want on the shelf.
- Name ideas? Sub-brand under Excalibur Brothers, or standalone line name? (Working title: EB Men's Care)
Building a Community Around This Line
Beyond product feedback, we're thinking about how to bring people along for the build:
- Founding circle — early friends who give feedback get first samples when prototypes exist
- Vote on scents & packaging — narrow finalists down with a small poll before we commit to MOQ
- Behind-the-scenes in Thailand — factory visit clips, ingredient sourcing stories (without exposing partners)
- TikTok co-creation — test hooks and gift angles with real reactions before scaling ad spend
- Amazon review seeding — honest early reviews from people who actually used the product, not incentivized spam
- Bundle experiments — grooming + Excalibur gear gift boxes for holiday seasons
If you want in on the founding circle, reach out and say you're interested in EB Men's Care beta feedback.
What Happens Next (Internal)
Your feedback shapes whether and how we pursue this. Behind the scenes we're working on formula specs, OEM conversations, U.S. compliance (FDA labeling, ingredient safety), and Amazon/TikTok listing strategy. None of that needs to be public yet — we just need to know if the direction is right.
