I am back from Bangkok after a hyper business-development trip.
The main focus was supplier and production work for our ecommerce brands, especially Akitai. We met suppliers, worked on getting our team and suppliers better aligned, looked at new product options, and spent time thinking through the production and logistics flow.
This is the kind of work that does not always show an instant result the next day. It is relationship-building, operational clarity, and product pipeline work. But for a product brand, that pipeline is the lifeblood. If we can add the right suppliers, improve production, and get better logistics systems in place, that should bear fruit later this year.
It was also great seeing the team more directly connected to the supplier side of the business. Snook has been doing great work, and this kind of in-person alignment helps everyone understand what we are really building.
Now I am back in Chiang Mai, and this week shifts into community and education mode.
For Global From Anywhere, we have the Chiang Mai Meetup: Empowering Sellers for the Future of AI-Powered Commerce on Tuesday, June 16, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM here in Chiang Mai. Then on Wednesday, June 17, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Bangkok time, we have the GFA TV Live Show + Empower the Seller Webinar , where we will share some of the new agentic commerce tools and strategies we have been implementing under the Empower The Seller program.
This is a big theme for me right now. We are not just talking about AI in theory. We are building, testing, and learning how ecommerce sellers can prepare for this new wave of agentic commerce. The Wednesday session should be action-packed, and I am excited to show more of what we have been working on.
Then the week after, it is off to Hua Hin for a villa coworking session with other ecommerce sellers. It feels like a rhythm of one week on the road, one week back in the office, then back out again. I am making the most of office time, while also leaning into business development, networking, and real-world relationship building.
Cross Border Summit 2026 is also moving forward. The upgraded site is showing stronger testimonials, registrations are coming in, and I like how the November 3-5 event in Chiang Mai is shaping up around the idea of a real fellowship. That is what I want more of: not just another event, but a group of builders, sellers, and operators getting together in a meaningful way.
We will link the meetup, live show, and Cross Border Summit details in the show notes. Make the most of the week ahead, and keep making daily moves toward your goals and ultimate dreams.
