Join us on our family adventure to Japan! We’re planning a 10-day exploration of Japanese culture, cuisine, and attractions that both parents and children (ages 8 & 10) will enjoy.

Day 1-3: Tokyo

• Arrival and check-in at family-friendly hotel in Tokyo
• Visit Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea
• Explore Akihabara’s anime and gaming culture
• Ghibli Museum visit
• TeamLab Planets digital art museum

Day 4-5: Kyoto

• Bullet train to Kyoto
• Visit Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion)
• Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
• Kimono experience
• Samurai & Ninja Museum

Day 6: Nara

• Day trip to Nara
• Feed the friendly deer in Nara Park
• Visit Todaiji Temple
• Return to Kyoto

Day 7-8: Osaka

• Universal Studios Japan
• Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
• Dotonbori food adventure
• Osaka Castle

Day 9-10: Tokyo

• Return to Tokyo
• Pokemon Center
• Ueno Zoo
• Souvenir shopping in Harajuku
• Departure

Planning Notes

• Best to book hotels near major train stations for easy access
• Consider getting a JR Pass for train travel between cities
• Pre-book popular attractions like Disney and Universal Studios
• Pack comfortable walking shoes for everyone
• Download offline maps and translation apps
• Consider pocket WiFi rental for internet access
