About Hamza Marketplace
Hamza is a decentralized, crypto-only marketplace governed by a DAO and backed by smart contract-based escrow. Our mission is to enable seamless global trade in physical goods — connecting sellers (primarily from China) with buyers (mainly in Southeast Asia and South America) — all with trustless automation and transparent governance.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a strategic, execution-focused Head of Growth & Product (Contractor) to drive Hamza Marketplace toward product-market fit. This leader will be responsible for growing our ecosystem to at least 100 active sellers and 2,000 buyers or transactions over the next 12 months. They will lead marketplace growth efforts, propose and implement incentive structures, and regularly engage the DAO for budget and roadmap approvals.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Seller Acquisition
- Identify, onboard, and retain at least 100 quality sellers (with a focus on Chinese exporters).
- Develop scalable, automated seller onboarding processes and tools.
- Execute growth campaigns targeting high-potential product verticals.
Buyer Development & Incentives
- Design and implement incentive programs (e.g., referral rewards, discounts, token-based rebates) to drive buyer acquisition and engagement.
- Analyze buyer behavior across target regions (e.g., Southeast Asia, Latin America) and adapt growth strategies accordingly.
Product Management & Automation
- Optimize the buyer and seller journey with product-led automation.
- Work with smart contract and frontend developers to prioritize and deliver essential features.
- Own the feedback loop between users, data, and product development.
DAO Participation & Governance
- Prepare and submit proposals to the DAO, including milestone-based funding, product roadmap, and incentive programs.
- Ensure alignment with DAO goals and transparent reporting to the community.
- Collaborate with token holders and contributors to gain consensus and community buy-in.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in product management, growth strategy, or marketplace operations.
- Experience building or scaling two-sided marketplaces or Web3 platforms.
- Strong understanding of crypto ecosystems, DAO governance, and token economics.
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional execution.
- Familiarity with seller and buyer behavior in emerging markets (especially China, SEA, or LATAM).
- Fluent in English (Chinese, Spanish, or Portuguese a plus).
Compensation
Contractor arrangement with performance-based milestones
Token incentive package aligned with co-founder-level allocation, subject to vesting and DAO approval
Additional performance bonuses may be proposed and approved via DAO governance
